Roof Soft Washing in Covington

Those black streaks on your roof are a type of algae called Gloeocapsa magma. It feeds on the limestone in asphalt shingles and spreads every year. High-pressure washing will strip granules and shorten the life of your roof, so we never use it on shingles. Instead we soft wash: a gentle, low-pressure application of a cleaning solution that kills the algae and moss. The streaks are gone right away or fade over the next few rains, and the roof stays clean longer. We protect your landscaping, rinse down the siding and gutters, and work safely from ladders and roof equipment. Ask for a free quote. Most roofs in Newton County are done in a single visit.
